apEL (c) is an assessment of prior learning (informal and non-formal) of individuals based on
their cumulative experiences (knowledge and skills) that are relevant and specific to the
learning outcomes of a course within a programme for the purpose of credit award.
The award of credits through APEL(C) is in the form of credit transfer (up to a maximum of
30% transfer credits permitted) and will be counted towards the total graduating credits
of the specific programme of study enrolled.
WHO should APPLY?

OPEN to all registered students of TAR EC with
relevant knowledge and skills acquired through
non-formal work-related learning experience
and informal training courses.
